EMT Pocket Prep App Reviews

Im about to make my first attempt at the NREMT and Im really nervous. After looking at others reviews, I think this app is really helping me stay sharp before my exam! Ill follow up after my test.

I am really not sure why this app isnt so much more popular and well known because this app is why i passed. Im not one to rate apps, but you cant find an equivalent practice exam on the internet. They give you explanations with research on every one of the questions to help you understand the answer. There were a few questions that were super specific and that was tested on my NREMT! $15 seems like a lot for the full version, but it is VERY worth your it.

I would recommend this app to anyone that is preparing to take the NREMT. I failed at my first attempt but passed successfully after using this. Not only did I use it to take full length exams (mostly to mentally/emotionally prepare for the test) but also to see what I didnt know and needed to study. I made flash cards as well with the explanations they provided. While I think the exam itself forces us to think more critically, this is a wonderful first step in changing the way you think and understanding the exam itself. They also have practically an entire book about multiple choice testing and how to limit your choices for the "best option". 1000/10 would recommend even for the price. Its better to pay $15 for the app than $70 to take the exam again. I wish all of those good luck in taking this exam and prematurely welcome you to the EMS club.

Helped myself out a lot, my national lapsed so I had to retake the test, upgraded to premium on here, passed my national first try again, made the national seem easy. Only had the app for about 2 weeks of studying.

I bought this app along with the EMT study app for a total of $20 and studied everyday 4 days before the test and passed on my first attempt

I took my NREMT on Thursday December 22 and I passed my first try! Honestly the people who wrote bad reviews probably thought way too hard about the test. If youre looking for the best study app this is it, and well worth the money. This app was my saving grace and went along with my book so it was my primary study tool other than the Flashcards I made. I loved that it referenced the book on why an answer was wrong or right, and the page the information could be found on. If you keep getting questions wrong and not doing hot on the quizzes, keep reading the explanations and go back and re do the same quizzes after youve studied the information it makes a HUGE difference. Most importantly dont think too hard! ABCs and signs and symptoms will get you through. Good luck!!

Helpful tool to supplement studying for the exam

Great app has similar questions to the national registry exam and gets you ready. I failed my first attempt and looked for where I can get similar questions like the exam. I stumbled over this app and it helped me get my mind set to how questions were asked. I even saw some questions of the exam here.

See the above. The NREMT study app is perfect for the exam, given that exam is what it is. There are sometimes more than one answer, and so the app explains why which is more correct than the other.

Great for a quick refresher of terms and test prep. Very helpful!

I used this app when I began my basic class until exam day for about 3.5 months along with my text book and I passed NREMT on the first try! Definitely strengthens your critical thinking skills and I loved how it tells you why an answer is right and even why its wrong! It helps immensely to test over one category at a time until you reach in the 90% range and then do a general category exam per 100 questions daily. Once your overall average hits the 90% and above youre good to go!

I failed my test first time I took it. And with a new job I didnt really have time to sit and study so I knew I needed help. I looked up apps and read the ratings. I got this one and a few others. Upgraded all of them but this one helped me the most. I just put a timer for everyday to study for one hour. Gave myself another month to take it. And happy to say I passed the second time I took the NREMT especially since I just finished my background for a certain FD.

This is a great app! I passed my national registry test my first attempt! I looked at approximately 1500 questions in 4 days and passed the test. It is very helpful! Great app!

I finished my EMT course in August (2015) and then went through the Fire Academy. Our Academy bypassed the First Aid/EMT sections because everyone must have EMT skills to be in the academy. I rented my EMT Textbook so I had to return it and had no study materials besides the minimal notes I took in class. I used this app for 14 days and passed my NREMT test on the first try. Great features include flagging questions, answer explanations and quizzing with only your flagged questions. Great app!!! 5/5!!!

This was a big help in preparing for the NREMT final. Very convenient and easy to use.

Ive only been using this a few day but already love it. The questions this app ask are not like the ones Im use to and from what Im told its what I need to help me.

This app was the primary study tool I used to prepare for my NREMT test. Passed it on the first try. This app will definitely help you prepare for the test.
